Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) teach undergraduate courses in the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) programme, with a focus in Building Services and Building Systems courses; (ii) supervise undergraduate student projects as need may arise; (iii) and carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements: Applicants should possess: (i) a PhD in Architecture or related field; (ii) a Master’s degree in Architecture or related field; and (iii) a five-year Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field. Evidence of engagement in research, governance and social engagement in the Built Environment disciplines or related fields, as well as teaching experience at a university or comparable institution will be added advantages.
N.B. Applicants without a PhD may be considered for the position with a Master’s Degree in Architecture or related field, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture of at least 2(i) pass/GPA of at least 3.6 on a five-point scale or equivalent.
