PART-TIME DEMONSTRATORS IN STRUCTURES (2 POSITIONS)

VACANCY NO. FET/CE 3/2020

Area: Structural Engineering

Duties: The successful applicant will be expected to: (i) assist with teaching, laboratory practicals/demonstration and tutorials in (a) Theory of Structures and (b) Analysis & Design of Structures, (ii) mark students’ scripts and laboratory reports, and (iii) perform any responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements: Applicants must have: (i) At least a BEng/BSc with 2.2 pass or better in Civil Engineering; (ii) registered or eligible for registration with a professional engineering body; (iii) Prior experience as a teaching/graduate assistant and/or sustained industrial experience in a reputable Civil Engineering consulting firm or research institute will be added advantages.

Remuneration: As per approved University of Botswana part-time rates.
