DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL ENGINEERING
PART-TIME DEMONSTRATOR IN STRUCTURES (1 POSITION)
VACANCY NO: FET/CE02/2022
Duties: The successful applicant will be expected to: (i) assist with teaching, laboratory practicals/demonstration and tutorials in (a) Theory of Structures and (b) Analysis & Design of Structures, (ii) mark students’ scripts and laboratory reports, and (iii) perform any responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements: (i) At least a BEng/BSc with 2.2 or better in Civil Engineering, (ii) Prior teaching experience as a teaching/graduate assistant and/or sustained industrial experience in a reputable Civil Engineering consulting firm or research institute, and (iii) registered or eligible for registration with a professional engineering body.
Remuneration: As per approved University of Botswana part time rates.
