PART-TIME COMPUTER LAB DEMONSTRATOR

VACANCY: FB/ A & F 4/2021

Duties: To assist with the teaching of computer lab practicals and conduct of tutorials in the respective subjects. The candidate must have an advanced practical programming experience and must be able to design small to medium business information systems. Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, DHTML, Visual Basic, PHP, MySQL, and SQL in general is absolutely necessary. Other duties include supervision of lab sessions, marking of tutorials and perform any other duties as maybe assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements:  A Bachelor’s degree in the area of Computing/Business Information Systems or related fields awarded at the 2(i) level or higher OR a GPA of at least 3.6. Applicants must have at least two years practical business computing experience in an organizational setting. Experience of teaching at University level will be an added advantage.

Remuneration:  The University offers competitive salary.
