Applications are invited for the position of Demonstrators in the Department of Industrial Design and Technology, Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
Duties: The department offers courses in the above areas to the students of Bachelor of Design (Design & Technology Education) and Bachelor of Design (Industrial Design) programmes. Demonstrators are required to instruct and demonstrate the practical aspects of these courses. Workshop Technology includes working with the following materials: metal, wood, plastics and other manufacturing materials. Additive manufacturing includes: 3D printing, rapid prototyping, selective laser sintering, additive fabrication, computer-aided design and
Requirements: Applicants must possess: (i) at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Design & Technology, Industrial Design, Computer-Aided Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Additive manufacturing, and/or any related field with a 2(ii) pass or better; (ii) work experience and university level demonstration experience will be added advantages.
