PART- LECTURER IN ACCOUNTING, DEPARTMENT OF ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE

FACULTY OF BUSINESS - DEPARTMENT OF ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE

VACANCY NO: IRC 1098 - PART- LECTURER IN ACCOUNTING

Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to (i) teach Cost  & Management Accounting and at least two (2) of the following courses: Introduction to Accounting; Auditing and Taxation; (ii) conduct tutorials, set and mark tests and examinations; (iii) moderate tests and invigilate examinations; (iv) process results and attend to student queries; (v) perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements: Candidates should: (i) have a Master’s Degree in Accounting or related field or a relevant professional qualification (e.g. BICA, CIMA, ACCA;  (ii) have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field with at least a 2(i) pass or equivalent. (iii) have the ability to

Added Advantage: (i) experience in teaching in a university or comparable institution, (ii) experience in governance and social engagement, (iii) research experience.
