VACANCY NO. IRC 1000: LECTURER IN TRAUMA AND EMERGENCY CARE NURSING, SCHOOL OF NURSING (Contract/Part-Time Position)
The Faculty of Health Sciences invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Lecturer in Trauma And Emergency Care Nursing.
Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to teach/supervise students in Trauma and Emergency/ Critical Care/ Intensive Care Nursing areas at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Requirements: The successful candidate should have: (i) A PhD in Nursing or related fields (ii) Master’s Degree in Trauma/and Emergency/Critical Care/Intensive Care Nursing or related fields; (iii) Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related fields with at least 2(i) pass/GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent; (iv) Evidence of engagement in research and (v) Applicants must be registered with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Botswana. The following will be added advantages: (i) teaching experience at a university or comparable institution; (ii) evidence of governance and social engagement and clinical experience in any of specified areas above.
N.B. Applicants with Master’s Degree in Trauma/and Emergency/Critical Care/Intensive Care Nursing or related fields with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing of at least 2(i) or equivalent may be considered
