LECTURER IN TELECOMMUNICATIONS ENGINEERING – 2 YEAR CONTRACT

VACANCY NO: FET/EE 2/2021

 Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and postgraduate level courses. The candidate should be able to: (i) teach Telecommunications and Electronics Courses; (ii) conduct and produce results of research work, actively involving students at undergraduate and post graduate levels; (iii) perform administrative and other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements: Applicants should have: (i) a PhD in Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent (ii) show evidence of engagement in research; (iii) Evidence of governance and social engagement, as well as teaching experience at a University or comparable institution will be added advantages.

N.B In special circumstances a Masters’ Degrees in Telecommunications Engineering with significant research output and industry experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or Electrical and Electronic Engineering, of at least 2(i) or equivalent may be considered.
