VACANCY NO: IRC 2045
Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses. The candidate should be able to teach at least three of the following: Ethics and Accountability, Research Methods and Computer Applications, Project Management and Evaluation, Public Policy, Human Resource Management, Financial Resource Management, and Leadership and Governance. The successful candidate must also be able to take an active part in the supervision and assessment of undergraduate and post graduate research work. The Department reserves the right to allocate other courses in addition to those outlined above.
Requirements: (i) PhD in Public Administration or related discipline; (ii) Show evidence of engagement in research; (iii) Evidence of governance and social engagement as well as teaching experience at a university or comparable institution will be added advantages.
N.B. In special circumstances, a relevant Master’s Degree in Public Administration or related discipline with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration or related discipline of at least 2.1 or equivalent may be considered.
