The Department of Psychology is looking for an innovative psychologist to: (i) teach Undergraduate Psychology courses; (ii) initiate, promote and participate in research; (iii) supervise student research projects and (iv) carry out any other responsibilities as and when assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements: Candidates should have: (i) a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology or a related discipline; (ii) An Undergraduate Degree in Psychology (e.g. Bachelor of Psychology, BA or BSc in Psychology combined or single major) from a recognized institution with at least a 2(i) pass / GPA of at least 3.6; (iii) registered or eligible to be registered with the Botswana Health Professions Council (BHPC); (iv) show evidence of engagement in research; (v) evidence of governance and social engagement in Psychology related fields as well as teaching experience at a University or comparable institution will be added advantages.
N.B. In special circumstances a relevant Master’s Degree in Psychology or a related discipline with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology of at least 2.1 or equivalent may be considered.
