LECTURER IN NON-GYNECOLOGY CYTOLOGY

FACULTY OF HEALTH SCIENCES

SCHOOL OF ALLIED HEALTH PROFESSIONS

Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to teach and supervise students at both undergraduate and graduate levels in the BSc Cytotechnology & Histotechnology Science programme. The candidate is also expected to engage in research and professional development.

Requirements: The successful candidate should have; (i) A PhD in Cytology/Cellular Pathology or equivalent and (ii) A Masters degree in Cytology or equivalent. (iii)  Evidence of research. Governance and social engagement, (iv) Be registrable with the Botswana Health Professions Council. Experience in teaching at university/tertiary institution and evidence of research is an advantage.

NB: In Special circumstances A Masters degree in Cytology or equivalent; (ii) with a Bachelor's degree in Cytology or Histology or an equivalent degree with a single or double major in Cytology/Histology or both with at least GPA 3.6, may be considered.
