LECTURER- NON-GYNECOLOGY CYTOLOGY

The Faculty of Health Sciences invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Lecturer in the School of Allied Health Professions.
Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to (i) undertake undergraduate and graduate teaching in the BSc Cytotechnology & Histotechnology Science programme (ii) conduct research (iii) make contributions to the development of the Cytotechnology and Histotechnology Sciences profession. (iv) coordinate or lead the activities in the profession; and (vi) undertake administration/coordination activities at the institution.
Requirements: Applicants should possess (i) A PhD in Cytology / Cellular Pathology or equivalent (ii) a Masters degree in Cytology / Cellular Pathology or equivalent. (iii) Evidence of engagement in research, (iv) Evidence of Governance and Social Engagement, iv) Be registered of eligible for registration with the Botswana Health Professions Council (vi) The following will be added advantages: (i) Evidence of Governance and Social Engagement (ii) teaching experience at a University or comparable institution.
NB: In Special circumstances, a Masters degree in Cytology / Cellular Pathology or equivalent; (ii) with a Bachelor's degree in Cytology or Histology or an equivalent degree with a single or double major in Cytology / Histology or both with at least GPA 3.6, may be considered.
