LECTURER IN MEDIA STUDIES (CONTRACT POSITION)
VACANCY NO: FH/MS02/2022
Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) teach undergraduate and postgraduate level courses in any of the following; radio broadcasting, integrated communication and digital media production; (ii) supervise undergraduate and post graduate student’s projects as need may arise; (iii) participate in the academic, governance and social engagement in media related fields; (iv) and perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Lecturer: Applicants should possess; (i) a Doctorate in Media Studies or related field; (ii) show evidence of engagement in research; (iii) Evidence of Governance and Social Engagement in Media Studies or related fields, as well as teaching experience at a University or comparable institution will be added advantages.
N.B For candidates without a PhD, a Master’s Degree in Media Studies or related fields may be considered provided that the applicant has a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Studies or related disciplines with at least a 2(i) pass or equivalent.
