LECTURER IN LAW – (CITIZENS ONLY)

Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses. The candidate should be able to teach at least two of the following: Commercial Law; Insurance Law; Property Law; Land Law and International Economic Law. The Department reserves the right to allocate other courses in addition to those outlined above.

Requirements: Candidates should have: (i) at least a relevant Doctorate in Law; (ii) show evidence of engagement in research; (iii) evidence of governance and social engagement in Law related fields as well as teaching experience at a University or comparable institution will be an added advantage.

N.B. Applicants with a relevant LLM Degree with a Bachelors’ Degree in Law of at least a second class, first division (2.1) pass/ GPA of at least 3.6 may be considered.

Remuneration: The University offers a competitive salary and benefits commensurate with experience and qualifications.
