LECTURER IN EMERGENCY NURSING/TRAUMA AND EMERGENCY NURSING (1 CONTRACT POSITION)

Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) teach undergraduate and post-graduate level courses in Emergency Nursing/Trauma and Emergency Nursing; (ii) supervise students’ research projects as need may arise; (iii) participate in all academic and professional activities including research; (iv) and carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements:  Applicants should possess: (i) a PhD in Nursing; (ii) a master’s degree in nursing science in Emergency Nursing/Trauma and Emergency Nursing; (iii) a bachelor’s degree in nursing with at least 2(i) pass/GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent; (iv) show evidence of engagement in researchEvidence of governance, social engagement in Nursing Science in Emergency Nursing/Trauma and Emergency Nursing, as well as teaching experience at a university or comparable institution will be added advantages.

N.B. Applicants with master’s degree in nursing science in Emergency Nursing/Trauma and Emergency Nursing with a bachelor’s degree in nursing science; with at least 2(i) pass/GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent may be considered in special circumstances.
