The Faculty of Education invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the post of lecturer in Educational Psychology, Department of Educational Foundations, Faculty of Education.
Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to (i) teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in Educational Psychology; (ii) supervise undergraduate and graduate students’ projects as need may arise; (iii) participate in all academic and professional activities of the department including research; (iv) and carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements
Lecturer: should possess: (i) a PhD in Educational Psychology or related field; (ii) Master’s degree in Educational Psychology or related field; (iii) a Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Psychology or related field with at least 2(i) pass/GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent;(iv) show evidence of engagement in research. Evidence of governance and social engagement, as well as teaching experience at a university or comparable institution will be added advantages.
N.B. Applicants with Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology or related field with a Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Psychology of at least 2(i) pass/GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent may be considered.
