Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Lecturer in Early Childhood Education, Department of Primary Education, Faculty of Education.
Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) teach post-graduate and undergraduate level courses in Early Childhood Education (ii) supervise undergraduate and graduate student’s projects as need may arise; (iii) participate in all academic and professional activities of the department including research; (iv) and carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements: Applicants should possess: (i) a PhD in Early Childhood Education (ii) a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education (iii) a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with at least 2(i) pass/GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent; (iv)show evidence of engagement in research. Evidence of governance and social engagement in Early Childhood Education or related field, as well as teaching experience at a University or comparable institution will be added advantages.
N.B. Applicants with Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education of at least 2(i) pass/GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent may be considered in special circumstances.
