LECTURER IN DIGITAL MEDIA

DEPARTMENT OF MEDIA STUDIES

VACANCY NO. FH/MS 2/2020: LECTURER IN DIGITAL MEDIA (FIXED – TERM CONTRACTS)

Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) teach post graduate and undergraduate level courses especially desktop publishing, online media production and computer animation; (ii) supervise undergraduate student’s projects as need may arise; (iii) participate in all academic and professional activities of the department including research; (iv) and carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements:  Applicants should possess: (i) a Doctorate in Media or related field, (iii) show evidence of engagement in research. Evidence of governance and social engagement in media related fields, as well as teaching experience at a University or comparable institution will be added advantages

N.B.  Relevant Master’s Degree or equivalent may be considered provided that the applicant has a relevant Bachelor’s Degree with at least a 2(i) pass or equivalent.
