LECTURER IN THE DEPARTMENT OF MARKETING (Contract Position)

FACULTY OF BUSINESS

VACANCY NO: IRC 1196

Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to (i) develop and teach undergraduate, postgraduate and executive courses in Marketing or International Business, (ii) supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, (iii) undertake scholarly research either individually or in collaboration with others, (iv) Participate in professional and community engagement, and (v) perform duties or responsibilities at the Department, Faculty and University levels assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements: Applicants should have: (i) a doctoral degree in any of the following disciplines: Marketing, International Business, or related field; (ii) a Master’s degree in Marketing, International Business or related field; (iii) a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, International Business or related field; (iv) evidence of engagement in research. Evidence of governance and social engagement in any of the above or related field, as well as teaching (courses related to marketing and\or international business) at the University or comparable institution will be added advantages.

NB: In special circumstances, a Master’s degree in Marketing, International Business or related field with a relevant Bachelor’s degree of at least a 2.1 pass//GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent may be considered in special circumstances.
