Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Control and Instrumentation, and related areas; (ii) Supervise both undergraduate and graduate student research projects; (iii) Conduct research in control and instrumentation and also complement existing research activities in the area; (iv) Participate in other academic and professional activities of the department; (v) Render professional service and carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements: Applicants should possess: (i) a Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering or related field, (ii) show evidence of engagement in research, (iii) Evidence of governance and social engagement, as well as teaching experience at a University or comparable institution will be added advantages.
N.B In special circumstances a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, of at least 2(i) or equivalent may be considered.
