LECTURER IN COMPUTER SCIENCE (CONTRACT POSITION)

VACANCY NO: FOS/CS01 /2023

Duties:  The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses. (i) supervise undergraduate projects but may be assigned to supervise graduate dissertations (ii) carry out any other responsibilities assigned by the Head of the Department.

Requirements: Applicants should have: (i) a doctorate in Computer Science or related area; (ii) show evidence of engagement in research. Evidence of governance and social engagement, as well as teaching experience at a University or comparable institution will be added advantages.

N.B. In special circumstances a Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related may be considered provided the candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields with at least a 2(i) (CGPA of at least 3.6/5) or equivalent and may be considered on contract basis.
