LECTURER (2 YEAR CONTRACT)

VACANCY NO: FSS / PSY2/ 2021

The Department of Psychology is looking for an innovative Psychologist to: (i) teach Undergraduate and post graduate Psychology courses; (ii) initiate, promote and participate in research(iii) supervise student research projects and (iv) carry out any other responsibilities as and when assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements: Candidates should have: (i) a Doctorate in Psychology or related discipline; (ii) show evidence of engagement in research; (iii) registered or eligible to be registered with the Botswana Health Professions Council (BHPC); (iv) evidence of governance and social engagement in Psychology related fields, abilities to teach statistics for psychology as well as teaching experience at a University or comparable institution will be added advantages.

N.B. In special circumstances a relevant Master’s Degree in Psychology or a related discipline with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (e.g. Bachelor of Psychology, BA or BSc in Psychology combined or single major) of at least 2.1 pass / GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent may be considered.
