Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) teach undergraduate medical students and graduate students in the Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine (MMed), (ii) conduct research.
REQUIREMENTS: (i) a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS or MBChB) or MD degree or equivalent; (ii) a formal degree qualification as a specialist in Internal Medicine; (iii) the qualification must be registerable by the Botswana Health Professions Council with a specialist status; (iv) evidence of professional specialization in Internal Medicine and evidence of active license to practice (where appropriate). The following will be added advantages; (i) evidence of governance and social engagement; (ii) experience of teaching at a university or comparable institution and (iii) evidence of sub-specialization in internal medicine.
