Job Overview

As a member of Executive Management Team and reporting to the Vice Chancellor, the incumbent is responsible for leading and directing the formulation and effective delivery of the University’s operations support services strategy that will support the implementation of the University’s overall strategy and ensure that the University functions optimally.

The incumbent will also ensure provision of customer focused processes that ensures effective and efficient delivery of operational support services to the University’s stakeholders.

Education, Qualifications and Experience: Master’s level qualification in Business Management or relevant Managerial discipline with substantial level of professional achievement commensurate with a Senior Management University leadership role.

Desirable Professional Standing: (i) Professional graduate accreditations and memberships (ii) Continuous professional development certification.      

Work Experience: (i) A minimum of 6 years’ experience at senior management level (Director and above) in charge of operations preferably in a University or a large organization (ii) A minimum of 6 years’ professional management experience with a proven record of Senior Management experience and achievement in strategy and operations management in a University.
