The Unit also provides guidance on policies and guidelines; ethics review processes and continuous oversight of all research conducted by students, staff and affiliates at the University of Botswana. The Unit also contributes to ethics excellence through training, collaborating with local and international Institutional Review Boards (IRBs), Bioethics Centers and training institutions. The Unit facilitates the issuance of Research permits for all UB Researchers and is involved in community engagement as a social responsibility.
