The Faculty of Business at the University of Botswana invites academics and practitioners from around the globe to participate in the 5TH BIENNIAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE themed; BUSINESS INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP: ACCOUNTABILITY, CHALLENGES AND COMPETITIVENESS IN CHANGED AND EMERGING ECONOMIES.
The conference is to be held at the University of Botswana Conference Centre from the 9th to the 11th July 2019. The objectives include; 1) providing a platform for debating issues of accountability, contemporary, challenges and competitiveness on Business Innovation and entrepreneurship in emerging economies; 2) reflecting on future of sustainable growth in these economies; as well as 3) creating an environment for learning and networking among delegates from educational institutions, government and non-government organizations; and from small, medium and large Enterprises.
The conference welcomes scholarly papers from academics, consultants, entrepreneurs, technology providers and innovators interested in the broad areas of business accounting, finance, management, logistics, entrepreneurship, marketing, international business, tourism, hospitality as well as any other related discipline. Special tracks have been created for graduate students as well as none-academic researchers and practitioners. The graduate Students session targets Masters, MPhil and PhD candidates at various stages of their research projects. There shall be special Key Note and Guest speakers whose names shall be communicated once confirmed. We are also happy to share that, in addition to the production of conference proceedings, a selection of outstanding papers from the conference shall be published through a special edition arrangement with the Botswana Journal of Business.
