My areas of interest are:
(1) Microfabrics, Structural Geology and Tectonics of lower to middle crustal rocks. (2) Brittle structures and brittle deformation of crustal rocks, (3) Graphite mineralization in high-grade rock terrains, (4) Petrology of high-grade rocks, (5) Lower crustal processes, (6) Hydrogeology and groundwater exploration in hard rock terrains, (7) Plate tectonics and tectonics in the Indian Ocean, (8) Past plate tectonics and break-up and assembly of supercontinents, (9) Earthquakes and tsunamis and their deposits, (10) Landslides in crystalline hard rocks terrains.
1. Structural and metamorphic evolution of the Limpopo Belt exposed in Botswana.
2. Geological, mineralogical, metamorphic and geochemical evolution of a deformed and metamorphosed Archaean layered igneous complex in the Limpopo Belt in NE Botswana, and its associated mineralizations.
3. Causes and mechanisms of fluid-driven potassium -metasomatism and associated mineralizations in cratonic rocks of Botswana.
