PART-TIME LECTURER- INFRASTRUCTURE PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT (August 2019 to January 2020)

The University of Botswana invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the post of Part-Time Lecturer to teach courses in the BSc/MA (Professional) Urban and Regional Planning Programme, which is fully accredited by the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).
Duties: The successful candidate will (i) teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Infrastructure Planning and Management; and (ii) carry out any other responsibilities as and when assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements: Applicants must have (i) at least Master’s Degree in Infrastructure Planning/Environmental Engineering; (ii) a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; Environmental Engineering or a cognate field obtained from a recognized university with at least 2(i) pass/ GPA of at least 3.6. Applicants should also show evidence of engagement in research and service. A PhD in Infrastructure Planning and/or Environmental Engineering and/or a relevant professional qualification, teaching experience at a University or comparable institution and evidence of effective academic leadership will be added advantages.
