VACANCY NO: FE/DPE 1/2019: PART TIME LECTURER IN ACCOUNTING AND BUSINESS STUDIES
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Part Time Lecturer in Accounting and Business Studies.
Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to; (i) Teach Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Procurement Practices and other business related topics; (ii) provide academic leadership through the enhancement of teaching, research, professional and community service; (iii) take an active part in the supervision and assessment of undergraduate students’ research projects; (iv) carry out any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements: Applicants should have; (i) at least a Masters’ Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related fields; (ii) a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related fields with at least a 2(i) pass/GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent; and (iii) show evidence of engagement in research and service. The added advantages will be a relevant PhD, teaching at university or comparable institution and a good research record.
