Requirements: A minimum of (Degree in Social Sciences or related area) Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management or related qualification is required. In addition candidates should have strong interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills, negotiating skills; should be assertive and pro-active. Knowledge of computerized Human Resources record system is essential. Experience in the employment policies, practices and procedures will be an added advantage
DUTIES: The successful candidate shall be expected to carry out a wide range of Human Resources Management activities and provide advice and assistance to user Departments to ensure the equitable implementation of the University’s General conditions of service, policies and practices, industrial relations and staff welfare to facilitate the development and maintenance of motivated, productive labour force. S/He will also be expected to prepare statistical reports and analysis as required and ensure accurate maintenance of computerized Human Resources record systems
