Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) teach any Microbiology course at under graduate and postgraduate levels; (ii) undertake research either individually or with other members of staff in the department; (iii) provide service to the university; (iv) perform any responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements: Candidate must: (i) have a PhD or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution or an appropriate qualification; (ii) show evidence of engagement in research. University teaching experience will be an added advantage. Candidates with a relevant Masters degree may be considered for appointment as Temporary Full-time Assistant Lecturers.
