Main Library
The Main Library dates back to 1971 when it was established to support the learning, teaching and research needs of Part 1 programmes of the erstwhile University of Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland, Gaborone Campus.
It houses collections which support learning, teaching and research needs in the following faculties:
- Business
- Education
- Humanities
- Sciences
- Social Sciences
It is designated one of the legal deposit libraries in Botswana and holds the legal deposit collection. It also holds Botswana Documentation & Special Collections which include the University of Botswana Archives, the Tshekedi Khama Papers and the Noma Award Archives.
